OfferPies' Story
Frustrated by the lack of choices given to young Chinese students, Sam and Vivian wanted to be a bridge where they can bring global programs that are both unique and practical to students so they can take control of their education journeys.
With this goal in mind, Sam and Vivian started OfferPies（新欢喜教育）to source and seek academic program collaboration globally.

Sam Mao
Sam Mao is the CEO at OfferPies. He is the author of the first Data Science Certification Standard in China. Sam has a B.A in Classics from Furman University, a M.S. in Management and a M.S. in Business Analytics from Wake Forest University, EMBA from the University of Hong Kong. Sam has made the Forbes 30 Under 30 in the education section. He is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Hong Kong, a mentor for Mini-MBA program from the University of Hong Kong, a guest lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong(Shenzhen), a guest lecturer at Shenzhen University, and a specialist at the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE). His social duties include being a board member at Nanshan Overseas Chinese Returnees Association. Sam's hobbies revolve around hiking and soccer.
Vivian Zhang
Vivian is the Co-Founder at OfferPies. She is also the CTO and School Director of NYC Data Science Academy and CTO of SupStat. With her extensive experience working in the data science field, she developed expertise in multiple programming languages, including R, Python, Hadoop, and Spark. In August 2016, Forbes ranked her amongst one of the nine women leading the pack in data analytics. In 2013, she created the NYC Open Data Meetup group, which stands as one of the largest data science communities offering meetups, conferences, and a weekly newsletter. In her spare time, Vivian enjoys meeting people and sharing her motivational stories with our students and other professionals.
Jozesf Hu
Jozesf Hu is a partner at OfferPies. He has a MgM from the University of Hong Kong. He previously founded a boutique hedge fund in Hong Kong. He is also a curator for TEDx event
